Absolutely. Maybe that is what I should be doing to start out with, but not
me! I am going to jump in and try a T Shirt.

Congratulations on your organizing! I can't wait to see how the
embroidery lesson turns out. I want to embroider baby bibs; but, have not
been brave enough to venture into it. After you learn, will you tootor me,
please?

I am still working on straightening out my house. As a week ago the rush
went on and I had help taking everything out of my sewing room. Man I was
in for a big surprise as my middle son told me he couldn't come and put the
new desk up in my sewing room Friday. I asked the fellow upstairs if he
would be willing to put the desk together and He told me OK, but he had to
do it last Sunday. I was not ready for that and he said his girl friend
would help get the stuff out of the room. Then he told me that the ceiling
needed to be fixed and he thought I wanted the rug pulled up. As I said it
would be wonderful, but I didn't think there was enough of time.

Last Sunday he spendt the day taking everything out of the room, pulling up
the old rug. He works full time and I was worried as I scheduled my first
lesson on my new embroidery machine for next Saturday. Oct. 8. Mind you
the machine was still in the box and so was the desk with it's 22 pieces in
a box.

Chris came over every night this week and not only sanded the hardwood
floor, but he poly ?? 3 coats and fixed the ceiling that was falling down
due to a leaking radiator. Chris's girl friend & my son put the desk
together and today I got the embroidery machine out of the box and on the
desk.

I need to get the plastic organizing boxes into that room with the fabric.
The teacher is coming Saturday and the project I want to do is embroider
Humpty Dumpty on a T shirt for my Grandson.

I need to find something to hang my embroidery hoops on and get some
shelving to put in the closet so I can organize the Accuqult dies.

I am happy things are moving in the right direction now.

I should have had someone take a picture of the room before I started and
take one after I am done.

My son is still bugging me about my stuff and why can't I toss more of
it[like all of it].

No one is looking at all the stuff I got rid of. I know I need to work on
getting the stuff out of the living room, dining room, kitch, pantry and I
need to find a place for the 2 large boxes that my embroidery machine came
in.

It is getting there. I even surprised myself.

Thanks for listening.

My next goal is to get what is left organized and put what I want to keep
away and find a new home for what I don't want to keep.

Joyce

I am now sorting thru things again and moving things back into my sewing
room much more organized

I still have things scattered in the rooms, but I am making this into my
sewing room with a cutting table for my Accuquilt. A table for my sewing
machine and an organized table with what I need for the sewing machine The
desk with my embroidery machine on it and organizing
