Ugly sweaters can be a lot of things. My girlfriend who doesn't knit, goes
to the thrift stores and buys several sweaters. She cuts the arm off one and
sews it on another. She will take the back from one and sews it to the one
with the now two different sleeves. But normally ugly sweaters are just
garish loud obnoxious sweaters. They can have bangles or beads or not. Lit
up with lights or not. Big garish patterns, some of them are just plane rude
with stupid sayings, or Santa with his personhood out. So they can be lots
of things, just not wearable every day.

How about a Cousin It, from the Adams Family sweater, with long I cord
strings coming down in multiple colors, grin. Just sew them onto a thrift
shop sweater. It doesn't matter where on the sweater, just all over the
sweater, giggle.

Thinking ahead for classes to be taught next year[2017].

Maybe we need to have an "ugly sweater" class.  I really don't know what
this ugly sweater is all about.  Do you?
