[Nfb-krafters-korner] Knit? sweater class

Ravelry holds a type of Olympics (can't use that word) during any of the summer or winter olympics where you can join teams, compete in events, all for fun.

They have categories for sweaters, ufos, scarves, frogging, afghans, and spinning (not a complete list). For my project, I frogged a sweater. I had to take pictures of it before frogging, and the reclaimed yarn after. You cannot start before the opening ceremonies in your time zone and must be finished by midnight I think Eastern time. You can compete in more than one category but you have to use the tags created for your event on your project page to get counted. Also, while you cannot cast-on before the start time, you can create your project pages, purchase/find your yarn, prepare your yarn (roll into balls if you like), and get your needles ready for each project.

The idea is to have fun in the spirit of the Olympics and if you are watching that much tv during that time you can get a lot of knitting done. Not everyone actually watches the Olympics.
