[Nfb-krafters-korner] Knit sweater class

Naima, do you know how to do the first knitting stitch? The first thing you need to do in knitting is learn the knit stitch and the purl stitch, then cast on and cast off. That has been taught here. It may be difficult to teach by phone, but has been done. I recommend you try a pot holder, dish cloth and scarf as first projects, even a baby afghan perhaps. Then you can get some practice keeping your stitches even so your work looks the way you want it. At that point you can try other things. If you already know knit, purl, cast on and cast off, then picking up stitches, increasing, decreasing, etc. will be very useful and you can try some other things.
