I did put a lot of thought into this. If you don't want to try that is your choice. Each person who signs up for this class needs to have knitting needles and yarn ready first day of class. You also need to keep up and try to do it.

If you aren't going to try to do it, I suggest you don't bother taking the class. There will be homework and I will take questions at the beginning of the last two classes to clarify what you needed to do between classes.

Everyone needs to come prepared to this class and try to accomplish between classes so you will be ready to learn and try the next part of this class.

It is October now and the class begins February 1. I will decide if I will move this class so it isn't on Wednesdays, but I can't do Tuesdays. There is plenty of time for everyone to get their supplies. 1 skein of worster weight yarn will be enough to make a sweater. I need to check on the length of circular needles, but I use size 8 needles.

Joyce

Terry, I am thinking about offering a pull-over sweater class by email because it takes a lot of knitting. But then I could do a separate class on picking up stitches for neck ribbing or just picking up stitches. I have to wait until I learn to do online stuff with my new device to put my January classes up on website. Then I will get to February. If you have time, take Joyce's class on the baby sweater. She might have some techniques that make buttonholes easy. I'm hoping! Isn't learning from each other what this is all about? Ramona

I do like the idea that was given that if there is no Spring babies in your future, then we can donate them. I would like to give everyone a true challenge and lets say see how many sweaters we can make from Feb. 1 to August 1. This is done with washable knitting worster and circular knitting needles. You must be comfortable with casting on and off, knitting and Purling. So you have time to learn these 4 things by February. Don't have to worry about sizing and I have a charity to donate them to, of course if you want to donate them to some other place, that is up to you.
