Thank you for your kind message and thoughts. Matthew was pretty bad around
here, much worst than I believed. First let me say, I have been in a great
deal more or worse. I was in SC during Hugo a cat 3 or 4 and that was bad.
When I was 11 in lived in NJ and that hurricane was really bad, so a cat 1
really was not so bad. It was scary during the storm, the winds were
terrible, we did not get any water but rain, other areas really got it bad.
I know what the shelters are like, and did not want to go there, and could
not find a hotel anywhere available. I could leave my pets, either. I can
not say I was stressed, I truly believed my God watch out for us and my
little dog, Annie. I knew my friends were praying for me and I had the
assurance everything was going to be fine. It was. That is my only answer,
it was scary and probably would not stay again, but we are more than
blessed. Thanks again for thinking of me. Keep in touch.
