Hi Bernice,

We used to have someone in our group who did intarsia and taught a class in
it, but I do not think she is still a member here.  But now that you have
posted your wish here, you never know who might pop up and offer to teach a
class or point you in the direction of a great resource.  I personally do
not do the technique although I did take the class.

Hi group, The motivating reason I contact this list was to see if anybody
knew how to color work intarsia.  So, I am finally getting around to see if
anybody knows this technique.  It is a method of changing color while
knitting to make a picture.  I have started calling craft stores locally to
see if someone knows how to do it and would be willing to teach me.  It is
proving very frustrating.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Also, thanks for the info on dish cloths.  I plan to go soon and get the
cotton yarn to give it a try.  I have two surgeries coming up, so I hope I
feel well enough to work on crafts.
