Don’t have a ruler to measure your work?

Using a US Dollar bill.

An unfolded dollar bill is 2 ½ inches by 6 inches.

Fold the bill in half bringing the long edges together, . The short edge
now measures 1 1/4 inch. The long edge measures 6 inches.

Unfold the bill. Now fold the bill in half bringing the short ends
together. Now the long edge is 3 inches. If you were to have folded it in
thirds then the long edge now is 2 inches If you then fold that again in
half it is now 1 inch along the formerly longest edge.

Bet you didn’t know that you have had a ruler in your pocket at all times?
