I love the smell of horses.  I love to stick my nose under Cruiser's mane
because that is where he smells most horsey.  I also put my nose right on
his nose, which he seems to like.

I got to like the scents of horse farms, and you're right about the scents
being stronger after it rained.
When I came home after volunteering with our Church group at a theraputuc
riding stable last year, Terry wouldn't even let me near her until I got
cleaned up and change my clothes, lol.

Ramona there is a commercial chicken farm about a half mile from my home and
when the wind is blowing from the wrong direction I can smell it.  It too is
worse after it rains.

I never smelled it when I looked at the property and I looked 3 times before
putting in an offer.

When I was a kid, my grandparents had a hog lot not too far ffrom their
built-in porch.  When the windows were open, there was quite a bit of
fragrance.  They said it smelled good and helped pay the bills.  I never got
to agree with them on that. The smell was strongest after it rained, pretty
rank!
