Some of the problem must be the site.
I signed up for the loom class, at the end of August.  The site confermed my
sign up, but I did not get a confermation, sent to my work e-mail.
The other 3 classes, done at the same time, went through.
When I discovered this, I signed up agin and got successfully subscribed,
but it did not come to my e-mail, again.
I sent Joyce and the teacher, an explination of what had happened.

It is difficult to know for sure where the problem is ... however, I know
that some of the lists periodically have problems delivering to AOL
addresses.  There can be problems with other ISP's roadrunner comes to mind.
Mail providers have gotten more picky about what they accept from whom, so
stuff may be getting lost along the way.

There is no good answer.
