[Nfb-krafters-korner] Want to know Wednesday, 8/17/2017

Flooding good memories came in my head thinking about this question. For
some reason kindergarten is what flew in my brain. Feeling so lost and
Stephanie who is still one of my very best friends, made it alright. She
instinctively knew I had to be taken by the hand and taught where things
were. The teacher would point, not meaning to, but Stephanie was there to
save the day.
Mrs. Senate was my older sister and brother's teacher also. Mrs. Senate
apologized to me a zillion time that she pointed. I remember her always
kneeling down at my seat or when I was on the tricycle looking me in my
wobbly eyes and apologizing. It was fun learning in that very old school
building. First, second and third grades the rooms were sort of round with
large windows on three sides of the room. I was so disappointed when they
tore that building down. I always wanted to go up into the bell tower.

Becky and the sweetest Jake

On behalf of Nella - her internet is out this morning.
Here is the topic for this week's want to know Wednesday...
School has begun. What is your most memorable back-to-school experience
either as a child, teacher or parent?
