I had a hectic time with Nasa's site but saw them trying to launch weather balloons close to shore at Sharlet SC.
When it took place in MD, it looked like a cloudy day, to me.  I could not look directly at the sky, with out the correct glasses.
It sure was nothing like the pictures I saw on the Hadley seminar done with Nasa!
The moon looked jet black in that picture.

The total eclipse just occurred here in Lincoln, Nebraska.  It was only about 1 minute, but it was cool!  We watched from about 11:35 A.M. till 1:15 P.M.
