A Pringles can is a good place to store crochet and knitting needles.

Becky,
It sounded so wonderful until you went farther into the explanation then fell apart. Never heard you mention scissors. But it works for you, Good.

Hey this works for me, smile. On my desk I have a coffee cup with my crochet hooks in. The tinier needles are in a cigar tube, along with a pair of sissors. In a pretty vase I have the fatter crochet hooks and some smaller plastic ones I don't use any longer. In a taller jar I have my Tunisian hooks and a couple pair of knitting needles I like. Oh and also in that tall jar I have extra needles for my knitting machines in bags. In a pretty box I have my circular crochet and knitting needles, with measuring tapes, buttons, and closure spring things for the draw string bags I make, some jingle type bells and any odds and ends, large eyed needles are in that box in a medicine bottle.

Yarn is everywhere in few controlled places. I have bags of pink separated into colors in that one pink family bag. I have a green family bag. A pure snowy white family. Off white family bag. The rest are just everywhere on shelves in bins, multiplying by the moment in corners.

Becky and her hand fed golden, ims da boss in dis household, toothy grin.
Love Jake

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] A Sunday Question

Here is a question, I have and I am a long time crafter that I think new crafters would have. This is a crafting question to the list, let's help each other with crafting replies and build knowledge of our craft. Simple answers and replies but if needed explanations there please reply.

I want to my crafting tool box Saturday and it was totally full of all kinds of things. I want to improve it and want real suggestion of what we should keep it the main box and then other boxes for specific crafting. Like the notion bag for yarn work. Like how many crochet hooks do we really need and should they be in the main box or the crochet box. I will start and hope I get real good suggestions to clean out the junk.

Main Tool Box

1.Pencil or Pen or marker and 3 by 5 index cards

2.Scissors, what kind, should I have scissors for every craft box like material scissors for fabric and another for paper? Is this an important item in regards to cost?

3.What kind of measuring tool? Tape, braille, ruler, all or separate in different boxes.

I want to be ready and organized to go as I need, but I am not and hope this list might give me and other constructive ideas.

Terry Knox
