KK is my only craft group.  I have learned so much from the group.  I think being a member of KK and learning what I have about loom and hand knitting has helped me to step forward and Join my church knitting group.  Henry Joined with me.  He is the only man and we are the only blind people in the group!
After trying to get them to show me how to knit with 2 circular needles, and they did not know how, I came to the next meeting and showed them.  Sometimes blind people can be smarter  than sighted.  We know how to teach each other in our own way!

Hello!
This is the only craft group I've been involved with.  In the past, I didn't have much time or interest in crafts.  I'm not very good at them so I did other things.  Now I have plenty of time and enjoy learning new things.
Thanks to the teachers that put time and effort into teaching all of the classes.

Hello and happy Wednesday to all.  While writing the date in the subject line I remembered that today is my Brother's birthday, so will have to send him a birthday text.  He is over 40 now, so I can call him old. Lol

Today I want to talk about different crafting groups.

How many of you belong to other crafting groups besides KK?

What are they and how did you find them?

Have you belonged to other groups in the past and are there any groups you would like to join?

Have you ever felt that members in other craft groups were uncomfortable with your blindness, and if so how did you address it?

Have any of you ever started a crafting group?

Joyce, we all know you started this wonderful group, and thank you. Lol

Here's a humorous little story for you cat lovers.  Most of you have probably seen some posts from me about Troika, who is my little three legged rescue kitty.  She is very interested in knitting and other crafts that require yarn.  She also likes pipe cleaners and well most anything that I don't want her to play with.  She has been practically sitting on the keyboard watching the screen while I type this, so I think she wants to join.  I'll ask Terry K. to send her and invitation. Lol  Maybe she will start her own KK, which will stand for Kitty Krafters.

I look forward to reading all about your ideas on crafting groups.
