Linda,
I recently helped a client with making doll clothes for her daughter. Have you seen the alternative where you take a 9 to 10" (I guess it depends on the size of the Barbie doll) and make a swimsuit out of it? Then your Barbie always had some clothes on.

I guess I never thought about anyone being interested in this craft of Barbie doll clothes making. If you are, let me know and I might be able to teach a class or chat on it.

This response is not very creative, but, I have not doen it before. I am making Barbie doll clothes for my granddaughter. Part of the pattern calls for stretch fabric. I am using my grand son's out grown tea shirts and a top of mine for the fabric. For the scarf pattern I am using the ribbing from a sleeve.
I found minature clothes pens in the craft section at the Dollar Tree yesterday, which I am going to try use for stitch markers.

Happy Wednesday to all. Well, it is Wednesday evening already and I'm just now getting around to posting Want To Know Wednesday. My day has been a little hectic and I finally have time to sit down and deal with my email.

Here is another question from our wonderfully creative member Amy.

Crafting is about improvising. We improvise different methods that are more efficient, we craft with unconventional supplies or equipment, or we use unusual items to help us organize or craft in an improved way. What kinds of items do you use to help you craft, organize, track, or generally make your life easier artistically?

I love this question and think it will stimulate a fun and informational discussion.

As usual I look forward to reading everyone's replies.

Nella
