Do you have a canister or something you can put your skein of yarn in?  You could use a brown paper bag to keep the yarn clean and tangle free.  Have the single piece of yarn coming out of the top and tighten the rest of the bag around that piece.  You can tighten it with a small piece of yarn or rubber band on top.

What’s the best way to take knitting projects in the car with you?
I tried to travel in the car with my knitting recently, and it ended up in a huge knot.

How can this be avoided in the future?

Hello to all of you.  I will be flying a couple times during January and want to know if loom tools are allowed.



I can pack my stuff in my suit case that will go into cargo if needed.  I would like to knit on the flight if possible, but will read an audio book if my loom tool isn't allowed.  You never know I might be able to take over a whole plane with it. lol
