That is why I explained it.  These machines can do a lot of unique looking
embroidery, but I want to say I have done a lot of work  learning on how to
do things and I have a lot more learning to do.

I have been working with my embroidery machine for really 14 months as it
sat in the box for 4 months while I was waiting for a beginner's embroidery
class.  They estimated I had about 20 thousand stitches on the machine when
I bought it.  I had it in for them to check it and in November I had one
million 600 thousand stitches on it.  So I definetly have not left it
collecting dust.

I did not get any hand made gifts.  I did get what I wanted as I went out
and bought it myself.

It is a computer program that works with embroidery fonts so I will be able
to type on my keyboard and the letters are coordinated to the keys.
Example  embroidery fonts are 26 different files that you need to pick out
each one and place & space them into the words you want.  

This program takes the files and assigns them to the keys and will make the
adjustments to make it work out like the computer screen and your fonts work
in your computer.

I will have to learn more before I start playing with this.

So I didn't get anything hand made, but with this I will be able to make
unique crafty creations!

I can't believe it is the very last Wednesday of the year; where did all the
time go?

 

It will probably take me a while to get used to writing 2018.

 

I hope all of you had a beautiful Christmas

 

Did any of you get hand crafted gifts and if so what were they?

 

I got a lovely crocheted scarf from my Mom and the yarn she used was some
very soft alpaca that was given to me last Christmas.

 

I also got some knitted tree ornaments and some plastic canvas ornaments.

 

I look forward to hearing about everyone's gifts.

 

All of you have a fun, but safe new year.
