[Nfb-krafters-korner] dropped stitches, I'm crying now!! need advice!

Hi, Kathy.
You may want to put in a lifeline--I use grosgrain ribbon that's 1/8
inch wide, and leave a foot extra at each end. E.G., if your piece is
36 inches around, you'd want 60 inches; this will give you allowance
to the the tails in to a bow to keep them from getting in your way.
Thread the ribbon under
the cable on your needle that holds the live stitches.

For the scarf I'm working on, I have two lifelines, one in the section
I've just completed, and one in the section below--it's a garter
stitch piece worked in triangular sections. As I complete a section, I
pull the lifeline from the lowest triangle and thread it in to the
stitches just completed. That way, if I drop a stitch, it can't fall
any further than the lifeline.

HTH,
Dani, who gives you credit for just crying; I'd be doing a whole lot more ...
