[Nfb-krafters-korner] Want To Know Wednesday

As I look around my office I see a felted frog hanging as decoration.  I also have a crochet owl that I made.  At Christmas time I have the two bells; one red and one white that I taught on the Knifty Knitter.  I painted a heart American Flag topper to a glass cookie jar that is in my office.  It says You're a grand old flag.  I have a pot holder sewing kit complete with scissors, buttons, pins etc.  These make nice gifts and I was given one by a co-worker.  The last item decorating my office is a painting that I made using acrylics.  It has a tree, sun and beach with water and sand.  My first attempt and I am proud of it.

I have made some slipper socks and scarves that I do wear and have given for gifts.

Well, that one is easy.  I have half a dozen sweaters that I kept and wear and two vests.  I give most away.  I have seat pads on my bar stools.  I have cleanex box covers and a couple of pillows.  Most of you know that I am a knitter.

Wow, I can't believe that it is already Wednesday.  Thinking up weekly questions is going to exercise my brain.  Fortunately Annette was kind enough to share some questions with me, so I don't have to do all the thinking.

 

How many of you are using hand crafted items, made by yourself or others in your daily lives?

 

Do you wear any handmade clothing?

 

Do you have any decorative items such as paintings, sculptures, baskets, rugs and such around your home?

 

What about quilts, blankets, curtains and afghans?

 

Maybe I will get some good decorating hints from these questions.  I'm looking forward to reading all the responses.
