I saw one quilt pattern called a Dresden Plate.  We shall have to work on
understanding the pattern.   that I would love to crochet.

I made a 9 patch with my Granny too.  In fact that is the only quilt pattern
that I really understand.

Hello!
What fun questions.  I am using a hand embroidered runner on a small side
table.  I have some crocheted dollies under lamps.  I even got one of the
dollies framed and hung it in my bedroom.  As for afgans, all of the ones I
make have been gifts.  Maybe one day I can keep one.  Lol!  I love quilts
and have one on my bed.  It is the single ring pattern.  Unfortunately, it
was purchased from JC Pennys.  I did make one many years ago with my
grandmother.  It is the 9 patch.  I still have it.  The quilt top was sewn
by hand and the whole thing was hand quilted.  That was so cool.

Wow, I can't believe that it is already Wednesday.  Thinking up weekly
questions is going to exercise my brain.  Fortunately Annette was kind
enough to share some questions with me, so I don't have to do all the
thinking.

 

How many of you are using hand crafted items, made by yourself or others in
your daily lives?

 

Do you wear any handmade clothing?

 

Do you have any decorative items such as paintings, sculptures, baskets,
rugs and such around your home?

 

What about quilts, blankets, curtains and afghans?

 

Maybe I will get some good decorating hints from these questions.  I'm
looking forward to reading all the responses.
