Hi Henry and All, I have the number for tonight and am excited about 
visiting with everyone and getting started. I always thought this was too 
big of a project to take on, but a friend showed up with the jumbo skein of 
yarn encouraging me to try it. She has the first shawl and the famous KK 
poncho.

I'm a little concerned about the gauge and fit as when I have swatched 
before there really wasn't that much difference between sizes with a smaller 
and larger needle and the same yarn. I'm sure it is because I tend to knit 
tightly; I'll have to be super cautious not to do that with this. I just got 
the braille caliper for Christmas so am all set to measure.

I checked the spam and there isn't anything from the monthly dish cloth list 
or KK. I added the domain to the address book a long time ago because I know 
that does happen.
