Hi Nella and all,

For me both color and texture are important.
I lost my color perception 25 years ago but still remember colors vividly.
So for every project I make I have an idea of what color and even what shade
I would like. I love my color identifier but I sure wish it would tell me
what the shade is as well. what shade of blue is it, azure, cobalt,
cornflower, denim, royal, navy, or powder? This distinction is important to
me. I can choose a nice coordinating color if I know the shade. Also, when
making clothing, such as the vest I am learning to knit now, I wanted to
know the shade since I know which color shades look best on me. (I research
this years ago.)

But of course color is only one aspect. I am particular about my textures as
well. I like soft yarns and do not like rough textured yarns. I like some of
the bouclé yarns and not others. I prefer beads with interesting shapes,
rather than plain round beads.

I dislike working with glue, I don't particularly like working with clay
either. I guess I don't like sticky and gooey things.

I'm not squeamish however, I love to garden and get my hands in the dirt
regardless of what color and texture it is! <smile>

Have a great day!!
Cathy F
