My first project was a small knitted lap throw. I was in a wheelchair and
board. So my mom taught me how to knit. I was so nervous I would drop a
stitch and disappoint my mom and my Aunt who practically shamed her into
teaching me. My mom held my blanket up for my Aunt to inspect. My Aunt was
shocked that I actually did so well. Low expectations all my life, grump.
The only glaring mistake was I knitted the last two stitches together on one
of the rows somehow.  The throw was pink and blue. My mom sewed the two
pieces together to hide the dropped stich, smile. It worked as no one ever
said anything. Even back then my stitches were even. I put the throw over my
leg in a cast and good leg. It kept me nice and warm.

So once again it is Wednesday and time for us to ponder some craft related
question.  Today is one of my random thoughts, which I actually managed to
remember long enough to post to the list.



So, I just realized it is actually Thursday.  I apologize for being late.  I
have no excuse except that I'm a year older and my memory is getting
shorter. Lol
