Yes, my daughter and I have done arm knitting.  My daughter used it to make
a scarf, and I ripped mine out.  It is not hard to do once you get into the
rhythm of it, but I was not thrilled with the end result.  I think you would
have to use some creativity to deal with stopping in the middle of a
project, but since it goes so fast, you can probably finish a project
without interruption.  

I would consider teaching a class on how to do it.  I am only available on a
Saturday or Sunday afternoon, and an occasional Friday evening.  Are there
enough of you interested?  If so, what is your preference on when to have
the class?

Before I could turn the station, I don't watch Rosie O'donnell, they started
talking about something called arm knitting.  You use heavy yarn, and use
your arms as the knitting needles.  They said you could knit a scarf in 30
minutes.  Kind of funky, isn't it?  Has anybody ever heard of this?
