Years ago, we had an ice storm and I slid half way under a cab, trying to get myself to work.
I am afraid of ice!!!
I have been in many other accidents, in my life.  That is why I have some trouble walking.  I still count my blessings that I can walk.  I use a walker for long distances.  It releaves the pressure on my slipped discs!

I do not like snow; I repeat I do not like snow.  I don't plan on ever living any where colder than Arkansas.  

The cold makes me hurt and I hate trying to walk in the snow.  It's pretty, but only for a short period of time.

I love temps between 40 and about 80.  I like spring, a little summer and fall.  I love the flowers and the sounds of the birds.  I do not like humidity.  I like to put on a lite sweater or lite jacket, but when it comes to the winter coat and snow and ice, no thanks.  I love MD, because it for the most part, is a neutral state.  We have the ocean, flat land and mountains, all in one state.  We rarely get earth quakes or huge stormes , like they do down in the south.  I love md.  If I went much farther to the north, we would have a lot more snow!  Even Frederec MD gets more snow than my town, Germantown!

OK, I'm sure you will all think I'm crazy too. Summer is my least favorite
season. I love fall winter and spring. I don't like summer! It's too hot!
