Do any of you remember the Beverly Cleary books for children?

What about the Judy Bloom books for older kids and teens?

I grew up in a very small town and at one point I had read every book from 
the children's section.  Well there were a few that I just didn't want to 
read.

My Mom didn't closely look at what I was reading and I read some pretty racy 
things at a young age.  I didn't even completely understand some of what I 
was reading, but I kept on reading it. lol

Oh, yes, how could I have forgotten the little house books.  I still enjoy 
Little House.  Nella, I see you are an avid reader.  I am lost without a

I love Ann of Green Gables.  I also read all the Little House books.  I like 
Little women and all of the Louisa May Alcott books.  In high school I got 
hooked on Jane Austen and have read everything by her at least once.

When I was pretty young I read most of the Nancy Drew books.

I remember reading Black Beauty, Old Yeller and Where the Red Fern grows and 
they all made me cry. Lol

HI.
All the Anne of Green gables books I have read and loved.  I think I was a 
teen ager when I was first introduced to Anne of Green gables.  My first 
braille book I read was Mary poppins.  The little women books I have also 
enjoyed.  I have also read some books for young adults, but can’t think of 
them at the moment.
