There is really a movie called Yarn?

Those body suits sound very uncomfortable; I have to go to the ladies room
to often to wear one. Lol

I bet those people got some strange looks.

I'm guessing that it is made from acrylic yarn.  A wet natural fiber would
totally change the fit.  Maybe it is not for swimming.  

I had a chance to go see the movie Yarn.  One person made a crocheted
mermaid tail, and another person made these one-piece body suits.  And I
mean body suits.  The only part of the body you could see was the person's
eyes.  Head, hands, fingers, feet and toes were covered.  Then did a number
of experiments by walking out in public and getting the publics reactions.
At one point a group of body suit wearers did a choreographed dance.  I do
not think I would want to wear one because you are literally sown into the
thing without any type of opening.

If you have a chance to watch the movie, be aware that you will need someone
with you to describe many parts.

I have a book that has a knitted bikini pattern in it.  I wonder what kind
of yarn one would use.  I'm guessing it must be a tight knit and not a lacy
look. Lol

I would be afraid that my stitches might start unraveling.

The itty bitty bra will not even fit an American Girl doll.  It might fit
Barbie.  However, there are patterns for bathing suits.  And, I am right
there with you, I'd never wear one.

Personally knitted Willie warmers and bras sound uncomfortable to me.

I've seen patterns for Willie Warmers.  The British use the term Willie for
a male body part.

I have made Crocheted "Friendship Bras".  The pattern and poem is in the
2007 Crochet-a-Day Calendar.
