Yes, the dress was made of Plarn.  It was really funny to hear my mom figure
out what the girl was saying that she made the dress out of.

A plastic dress sounds very hot.  Just think you could hose it off; it would

My mom told me about a neighbor who crocheted a frilly dress for a little
girl (around 6 years old) out of yellow plastic grocery bags.  This was for
a contest and she won first place.  My mom said that it was very impressive
with so much details.  The skirt was very full and had 3 layers sort of like
a petticoat.  I do not know if either of the under skirts were a different
color.

I can't equal Becky's story or the Brits, but I always thought making a
dress maker's form out of duct tape fitted to the person would be a very fun
project.  You need a partner to wind the duct tape around you if you want a
form your size.  The instructions are very goodin a book I have, and I have
long been looking for the right time and partner to do it. More for fun than
because I really need the form.  Maybe that's why I haven't got it done.

I have a book that has a knitted bikini pattern in it.  I wonder what kind
of yarn one would use.  I'm guessing it must be a tight knit and not a lacy
look. Lol

I would be afraid that my stitches might start unraveling.

The itty bitty bra will not even fit an American Girl doll.  It might fit
Barbie.  However, there are patterns for bathing suits.  And, I am right
there with you, I'd never wear one.

I've seen patterns for Willie Warmers.  The British use the term Willie for
a male body part.

I have made Crocheted "Friendship Bras".  The pattern and poem is in the
2007 Crochet-a-Day Calendar.
