[Nfb-krafters-korner] Ten Years

Hello All Members and List people,

 

This is going to be a really exciting year here at Krafters and we want you
all to be a part of it all. I can not tell you all what is planned in the
near future but I can tell you it is so good. This will all start after the
2017 NFB National Convention in July with August being Christmas in August.
That month is filling up and you will be surprised how much is scheduled
that you do not want to miss. August will roll into the fall and the
planning has begun already for knitter, loomers, and crochet people and we
will craft into the holidays. Please keep reading and consider how you can
be a part of this.

 

In reviewing the last 10 years lately, I was really surprised at how much
Krafters have done in those 10 years. Sorry if this is lengthy but see if
you remember some of this and remember you all did this. Do you remember?

Who made coral for the Museum? Remember the coverings under the helmets for
our servicemen? When did email classes start? Did you give of your time to
make crafts to send to convention and what were they? Were you on the chats
with the author where a craft was made from her book and she joined us all
to speak about her writing? Can you name all the countries where we have
members? Can you name the original members that started Krafters? Can you
guess the amount of members we have as of June 1, 2017? Can you guess how
many classes we did in 2016? What year did we start the only phone in
Christmas party? Do you know how many signed up for last year's Christmas
party? Think about these things as a headstart, we might make a contest for
correct answers and you could win a prize for the correct answers and more.

 

How to be a part of this and the best year coming.

1.       You must be a current dues paying member This starts the day after
convention in July. So send in you 2017-18 dues this month. Need help send
me a note.

2.       .If you are just on list, make a commitment and join us, become a
part of Krafters. Go to website, www.krafterkorner.org and go to membership
page and sign up. We need you here.

3.       .Let us hear from you, and you will be contacted. We need help, we
need people to work on the Ten Year Team and other areas also.

4.       .We need help in arranging our celebration in the 2018 convention.
We need to be presented on the stage for this great accomplishment of 10
years of doing this for all Krafters have touched.

5.       .Mostly we need you! Please consider all this and get involved.
