I’m continuing work on an Aran pullover (crocheted), and am stumped as I begin the sleeves. When I have to do increases, it disturbs the ribbing, leaving too many of the same style stitches at the beginning and end of rows, seemingly. What am I missing? Here’s the pattern, as written:

RIGHT SLEEVE:

Ch 44. Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across - 42 sts. Mark off center 28 sts.

Row 1 (right side): Bpdc, * fpdc, 3 bpdc, fpdc, repeat from * across, end bpdc.

Inc Row: Keeping to rib pat, inc 1 st one st from each edge on next Row. * Work 1 Row. Repeat inc Row. Work 2 rows. Repeat inc Row. Repeat from * until sleeve measures 18 ½'' (19 ½"- 20 ½"-22 ½'') from beg. End off. Turn.
