Hi all,

I just wanted to share an exciting thing I have done today!

I have had this loom called the all-in-one loom which has a 3/8 inch gauge.
Each time I attempted to use it, I found it too difficult. So I had put it
away.

However, tonight I began wondering if I might now be able to use it. Guess
what? I can!

I have made a swatch using Caron simply soft yarn. this yarn is medium
weight but on the thin side of medium. Wow, it makes a wonderful fabric,
soft and tightly woven. According to what I have read, the 3/8 inch gauge is
equivalent to size 6 or seven needles. So, perfect for cotton dish cloths.

I'd really like to try to make that vest I tried to make on circular needles
on this loom, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. but some day...

By the way, the all-in-one loom is a long rectangle with sides that can be
adjusted to create knitting in the round of whatever size is desired. The
loom has 48 pegs on each of the long sides and 5 pegs on each end for a
total of 106 pegs. I don't know how large of a circular or flat width of
cloth it would make. The loom itself is 19 by 3 inches and is quite light
weight.

Anyhow, now to find some patterns.

See you all later.

Have a great day!!
