[Nfb-krafters-korner] help, please

Linda I keep hearing about arm knitting, but have no idea how it is done.  I
wonder if that is something she could do?

I picture myself getting all tangled up in the yarn and having to be
rescued, but that's just because I can be rather clumsy. Lol

This question is good for all of us.  It's making me really think and
stretch my imagination.

Terry, thanks for the suggestion.  I am also looking for something using
inexpensive supplies; which this would be.    I need to evaluate her
dexterity a little more.  I don't know if she will be able to do some of the
things with one hand and no vision.  She will have to have some way to track
her hand motion.

How about String Art, where you put the little nails in canvas or whatever.
Then you string the yarn or whatever around them to creat picture art. Also
what about weaving in the same thing . I will keep thinking, also watch for
my kids projects coming up there might be something there.

I used rug yarn today.  I really can't think of anything she can make from
the other materials with one hand.  She has only light perception.  Thanks

Have you tried larger yarns, macramé, twine, leather string, or other larger
materials?

I have a student, who has use of only one hand.  She wants to do crafts.  I
tried loom knitting today; but she cannot feel the yarn.  Does anyone have
any idea of a craft she can do.  I don't want anything too juvenile.
