Here's my $.02, fwiw.

1) What about Braille drawing? There's a Nancy Porter book, and I know that there are KKers who already do it who can give ideas.

They make a set of one handed extension keys that sell for $39 from Perkins and attach to the classic Brailler.

2) What about knitting or crochetting? They make an afghan hook that looks like a long, straight knitting needle with a hook at the end.
You can clamp the end of the hook so it stays stable, or hold it between your arm and your body, and use your working hand to manipulate the yarn to form the stitches. Or you could clamp it between your knees, or hold it with your feet. (I'll be trying these myself to try to understand the challenges, so I'm not talking just to
talk.)

Same for knitting--use the long, straight knitting needles, and either clamp the working needle to the end of a table with an arm, or between the body and arm, between the knees, or with the feet, and use the working hand to manipulate the other needle.

There won't be big successes right away. But there will be successes, even if it's just being able to feel the yarn and make a few stitches.

3) And ... what about a potter's wheel with a pedal for clay work? or a Lazy Susan type table?

4) I was asking my husband if they make a manual potter's wheel with pedals, and he said yes. He also told me that there's an archer who uses one hand and a prosthesis that is able to do the things necessary to manipulate the bow.

He says there are 3D printers that can make extensions for the hand, like a spatula for clay work, or pincers for origami.

Hoping some of these suggestions spark ideas. I'm sorry I can't think of more. I can't imagine having to only use one hand to do things, and I'd be really really sad to not be able to do crafts. Please let us know how things are going.
