Terry,
You copied me almost to the point, I am also a bag lady and a collection box
lady, where everything has its place. I do have to add one, I keep in the
bag I am working out of the size crochet hook in a plastic toothbrush
holder, so it does not get lost in yarn or project. I also keep at least one
Ziploc bag or more in the large bag to hold the project and keep it clean. I
also need to keep a emory board for snagged nails. I am an organer, for
sure.
Terry Knox

I am a bag lady. I love purses, craft bags and small bags to cary supplies
in. I try to keep each of my projects in their own canvas bag. Then I can
pick it up and put it in my book bag, cary it separately or put it in a
craft bag, with another project. I do not want my yarn to get tangled!
I have 3 cases for carrying supplies. One is a pencil case, one is a mini
tablet case and the last is sort of a mini back pack. The back pack has
pockets inside and an open outside pocket and one that zippers. It is the
one, I use the most!
I have a craft bag that has pockets big enough for a scain of yarn, 4 inside
and 4, outside. I do not remember what craft store it came from. It does
not zip, but can hold a lot. I have not seen it again!

In my mini back pack I have, a plastic box for my stitch markers and needle
protecters, braille folding ruler, folding sizzors yarn labels, I want to
keep, marker, braille measuring tape and needles.
I came up with a clever way of carrying my needles. I got a quilted change
purse for them, then I have no chance of getting pricked by a needle.
I also use the hair alastics on my knitting needles, when I stop working on
a project, instead of needle protecters.
I even have a spair, hair alastic and even a rubber band on my key chain.
You never know when it could break!!!
I can even cary a small plastic canvas project in one of my cases!
Another handy item I have is a fabric lined basket for unfinished projects.
These are nice and your project is protected from the basket, by the lining!

Hello fellow crafters. I apologize for not getting out the Want To Know
Wednesday question on Wednesday. Yesterday got away from me and I forgot
all about my post.

This morning I was digging through the tote bag that I use to carry about my
portable projects and got curious about what supplies and projects the rest
of you carry around. I have 2 of the smaller looms with partially completed
things on them. I also have a small bag where I keep scissors, loom tools
and a few tapestry needles. I have another small bag with lip balm, lotion
and a few dollars. In one of the pockets I have a slate, stylus and some
folded braille paper. Also there were a few candy wrappers, receipts and
other things that needed to be tossed. Lol

I use a medium sized bag that zips. There is one pocket on the side a two
pockets on the inside. I wanted to be sure and use a zipping bag so I
wouldn't scatter my stuff all over town. lol

So, what supplies do you keep in your craft bags?

What type of projects do you work on when out and about?

Do other people besides me end up with trash in their bags?

What kind of craft bags do you use?

I look forward to reading all the responses.

Nella
