[Nfb-krafters-korner] Hairpin Lace Loom

Dotty,

I only own a metal and plastic Hair Pin Lace frame that must be 30 years
old. I don't do much hair pin lace, so I've never looked into other
options. The only problem I've had is sometimes the metal rods want to slip
out of the holes in the plastic cross bars. I've remedied this by
stretching a rubber band between the one end of the 2 rods. I would be
interested in what you end up learning and then purchasing.

Annette

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] Hairpin Lace Loom

Hello, All,
I am a knitting addict but have decided to work on various types of
crocheting this summer. One of them is hairpin lace and I am looking into
the various looms available. Does anyone do this, if so, could that person
suggest the best hairpin lace loom for me to begin with? Is there a good one
out there, particularly a wooden one that you like?
When I was trying out cord makers and flower looms last summer, I was
disgusted with the low quality of the ones sold in the chain stores. Thanks.
Dotty
