HI.

my first mentor was my mum, She was at a loss on how to teach me to nit however, but I used to feel the beautiful dolls she made etc. If I made some craft item at school or whatever, she was always very proud and still has a pen holder I made out of pottery. A teachers aid actually started me off knitting, and then mum helped me along. When I got married and ended up living far away from my parents, I joined a church craft group. They also taught me a lot.
