[Nfb-krafters-korner] How are the baby sweaters coming?

I just finished casting off my sweater, last night, just before the chat. I was home, under the weather and spent the afternoon, finishing it up. If I do say so myself, I sure am proud of my work!!!
I finally understand 2 new stitches and I hope the sleaves work out right. I never thought I would be making a sweater, when I joined KK!!!
I love it. I like how the ridges are made, at the top.
I will explore Joanns for buttens, when I am fealing better. Alergy season!
Got to get over this so I can go to convention!
Thanks Joyce. Now lets hope I can do as well on the sleaves!

Here is a funny. My braille note battery was dieing so I put it on charge. I needed something to count my last 8 rows. My sister had given us a peg board game. I took out all the pegs and for each row I did, I put a peg on the board!

I usually use a key ring on a loom, but my loom fell and my needle set was taking up my table space!
Games are for more than gaming!
See you all Tuesday.

Terry P.

Hi Joyce,

I have about 10 rows left to the bind off.

It is such a darling little sweater with the ridges around the yoke.

I do prefer email classes... Either that or phone classes during the day
as to not intrude on family time around dinner... Yes, we eat late, usually around 7:30 or thereabouts, so 8:00 PM classes do conflict with our dinner.

And, back to the sweater... Do you have any good suggestions for button sources? I made the sweater in an off white, and I also have a skein of robin's egg that I will make another one in. I would love to have some buttons that are shaped like little sailboats, or hearts or flowers. Any suggestions as to a good source for nicely painted buttons?

I have heard from a few folks with very good reports on their progress. So I am just checking on those of you that are quiet.

If you are having any problems let me know as you should be done with the body of this sweater by Tuesday. Can you believe three weeks will be this Tuesday.

So let others on this list know how you are doing and how you liked working on this sweater with the telephone classes.

I truly prefer telephone classes, but I understand those who cannot make phone classes.

Joyce
