[Nfb-krafters-korner] baby sweater

Hi Krafters,

I decided today to see if I could knit with my hand that had surgery. The
answer is, yes. Although after 27 rows of the baby sweater my thumb was
speaking to me and saying it wanted to rest. Row 27 was a good place to
stop, because that is where I would have to go and get my stitch markers and
stitch holders.

My son-in-law bought me a size 8 circular needle for another project a few
months ago. I don't like it because the rigid part at each end has a slight
bend just before it gets thinner. I'm going to the basement tomorrow to see
if I have another one. If I don't, I think I'll ask him to stop tomorrow
after church at the craft store so we can look for a different one.

I never thought a button hole would be so easy to make as it is with this
sweater.

Thanks Joyce, and I am looking forward to getting back to finish it.

Bernice and the sweet Octane.
