Thanks to whoever shared this....it is actually a blanket I am making for my mom’s Christmas present.

Another great resource is U-Tube. Most of the videos are pretty visual...but I had some sighted assistance to help learn it.
Basically you are crocheting squares and rectangles....that create a picture. Each pattern has written instructions that are similar to a latch hook pattern. Say it calls for six blue then 2 red and follow the row with six blue. Each color unit will look like a tile you have crocheted and these tiles are chain 3 and 3 double crochets...the stitches are fairly simple, it is just understanding how to work each row to get the diagonal pattern.
I am willing to teach this in say February or March if anyone is interested.
