Becky,
You caught my interest by putting the make of your machine here. I need to
say there was a note on this website that I came across about not sure if
training on the internet.
I am happy with my embroidery machine and the knitting machine was less then
the embroidery machine, but how much does the additions cost? The computer
program was another $550 and I didn't look to see if a ribber was included.
I took it that it is electric, but does it have a motor to move the carriage
back and forth or for it to receive the information [computer]?
Anyone want to take a look and see if you can find out the info, here is the
website.

It is in I believe MO. Is these the folks you were talking about?

Tanya, you probably want to talk to Morgan Hicks who showed Romona and I how
to use a knitting machine. Romona and I have the Silver Reed SK860.

To get in touch with Morgan Hicks to talk to him about machines.
If you are in MO there is a really fine lady there who will show you five
six machines she has for her personal use in her store. I have to look up
more information, if you want to get in touch with her.
Morgan has his shop in western Washington

My apologies if this topic has already been discussed.
Ramona intrigued me when she talked about her knitting machine. I love
gadgets, so I watched some You Tube videos of folks using knitting machines.
I learned that I would probably want the Addi King size machine.
What do you do differently as a blind person using the machine? Do you have
markers on the black needles?
Is it hard to load the machine and bind-off?
Any advice for a complete knitting machine dummies would be appreciated. I
am seriously considering buying one.
Thanks
