Hi, Joyce.
I can't answer any of your questions re taking photos with this app,
since I mainly use it for reading mail to see if I need to open it, or
reading labels on boxes and jars so I can put the proper Braille
labels on.

But there's a book by Judy Dixon on the National Braille Press site
<www.nbp.org> about taking pictures as a visually impaired person--not
sure how much sight she has, but I know she's both an iPhone and
Braille user. The book is $15 or so.

HTH,
Dani
