Crock Pot Stew (this one is the Polish version)

Hey saving my Irish version for another time, grin.

What I made last night, and oh it was yummy was:

Ingredience: potatoes, Kielbasa, half a cabbage, onion, chicken broth.

I rarely measure anything, but this is easy to follow. On the bottom of my
large crock pot I put about a half inch, so not quite up to my first
knuckle, chicken broth.
Cube up three, potatoes or enough to cover the bottom of the crock pot.
Cut in slices a half stick of Kielbasa, then I cut those slices again making
half-moons.
Chop roughly a third cup of fresh onion.
Take the half cabbage and take off the thick ribs. Rough cut the half into
chunks.

Let cook an hour on high. Open put some fresh ground pepper and toss,
scooping the bottom stuff on top or whatever, just so it is mixed up. I use
a large soup like plastic spoon. Keep cooking on high until the potatoes are
done.

Stir up and serve. Great for football days.

Thought I'd send this one more time as it won't be long until the end of
October.

Current Contest

October Contest

OK, we have just a few days left until the end of October. . And we're
still in the second month of the quarterly contest. So there's a little
time left to participate in the October contests! So ready, set, go!

Theme: Fall

What are your most wonderful memories about this time of year? Did you go
on hayrides, have campfires, rake leaves with family and then jump in the
middle of the pile? Lol! We would enjoy hearing your fun stories. These
stories can be typed up and added to a Scrapbook which can be given as gifts
any time you want.

Do you have a favorite recipe for this time of year? You know, Pumpkin or
Sweet Potato pie, Pecan Pie, Beef Stew, Chili, etc.? Please share them with
us and add to your community cookbook. The recipes will be collected and
offered to all that want them at the end of each month. You could even use
them to make your own Cookbook which your family could treasure.

Do you enjoy football or another sport? What is your favorite team?

What craft ideas can you share using the themes related to fall? Here are a
few themes: fall colors, pinecones, leaves, pumpkins, gourds, something for
cool days and cooler nights. I feel sure there are so many more, so please
add to the list. Fall items can even be collected and used to make
beautiful Collages. Describe your project for us.

Note

Please share the craft ideas on our Krafters Korner group list but don't
forget to use the cc field and send your entry to us. We want to learn and
have fun but you want to get all the points you can and get your name in for
the Monthly drawing too.

On your mark! Get Set! GO Crafting!

Have a great time with these fun contests for the rest of October!!!!!

Deb B.
