Rebecca,
The sled I received was done in rolled scotch tape, so double sided tape
will work good also. As for the glue, I just seem always to use tacky glue
to start, if that does not work I will go to a crazy type glue.

	The question was asked what type of glue would be good to use in
assembling the sled.  I am wondering if double sided tape would work.  I am
thinking at least for the packages on the sled.

This sounds like such a cute project to hand out to co-workers and teachers.
What is a good type of glue to use that will not ruin the candy? Maybe I
just use too much glue but I am concerned about it soaking through the
wrapper of the candy.

Candy cane sleigh

2 candy canes
1 flat candy bar, kit kat, hershy, etc.
Several holiday wrapped candys, kisses, bite size bars Bow Glue

1.  Glue flat candy bar to candy canes  Or glue candy cane on each long side
of candy bar.
2.  Glue wrapped candies on large candy bar to represent gifts.  
3.  You may want to place a wrapped Santa and the front end of the sleigh.
4. Place a bow on top of the sleigh.

I gave these to my office co'workers last year.  They loved them.

I also made candy airplanes two years ago, but, can't remember all of it.
Life savers was the plane, pieces of gum was the wings.  I just can't
remember the other candy.

Last year I received a sled made from wrapped candy. It had two popicle
sticks on the bottom and the sled bottom was made from a KitKat bar and then
there was other candy on top. In fact the two sled runners might have been
candy canes turned up, not sure. If anyone has this pattern or knows how to
make this candy sled, will you please send me the pattern, and I will share
it with the list. The kids ate the sled before I had a chance to copy it.
