Are you trying to make something for the child?
How about designing a checker board, with 2 length of yarn and of course
black and red, then the 2 of you can play, together!
You could make her a pillow, made of a solid square in the middle and loops
of different colors, going around the square!
The one I did was made of fall colors!

I have done latch hook rugs in the past and know how to do them. I am
looking for one for my grand daughter who is 1 but it can't be too
complicated. I purchased a cat the other day but it is so complex I can't do
the pattern unless someone is with me all the time. Does anyone have any
suggestions?
