[Nfb-krafters-korner] Surgery update

This is interesting.  My aunt just had a knee replaced and she was told she would be in the hospital for 3 days.  A friend just had his done and was in the hospital for 5 days.  Sounds like they are rushing you out of there.

Hey all,
Many have asked about surgery details. It will be this Friday morning at Dartmouth. I am having a total replacement of my right knee. Doctors hope I will be released on Saturday, but they want us to stay near the hospital over the week-end in case of allergy complications.
Recovery is at least 8 weeks. It gives me lots of time. To work on some crafting projects. I have gathered all my scrap yarn andI want to make several granny squares of all kinds...if you have any fun patterns please pass them along. 
Thanks for asking about the surgery and I am sure Ken will send updates.
