Hi Terry,

Here are a few brand names for beading wire.

Accu-FlexR Beading Wire
AcculonR
FireLineR

Wire is sold by thickness in millimeters. So the thinner the wire the
higher the number is in millimeters.

for example, you might use anywhere from a 24 26 28 or 30 gauge wire for
seed beads. This wire is used for jewelry making. These are the smallest
beads and the largest of the seed beads is a 6.0.
the other thing to keep in mind is how flexible do you want your wire. for
example the 24mm wire is less flexible then the 30mm wire.
if you are using the larger pony beads, you might wish to choose the 24 or
26 MM wire since it can handle the weight of the heavier beads.

for safety pin beading we have used 18 or 20 gauge wire which is thicker and
keeps its shape better with the heavy safety pins hanging on it.

if I can help further, let me know.

Have a great day!!
Cathy F
