I sent this message to my students in my Apple Dish Cloth class a while
back,  and so I will now share it here


 

 

I often will add a little something other than the pattern in my classes.

 

Spiced Caramel Apple Cider

 

This is oh so good, and dangerously so


 

Bring to a boil in a medium saucepan:

 

¼ cup heavy cream

¼ cup dark brown sugar

 

Boil for a minute or two, stirring constantly.

 

Then add:

3 cups of apple cider

½ cup water.

 

Lower heat to medium and heat through.  Do not boil.

 

To serve:

Pour a shot of Captain Morgan Spiced rum into a mug then fill the mug the
rest of the way with the 

Caramel Apple Cider.
