Ramona do you know where one can get whole cloves?

You can just box up one of those fresh peach cobblers and send it on to my
house, where it will be well cared for.

I love fresh peaches.  I love almost all fresh fruit and berries.

It's pretty simple.  Just take whole cloves and punch the long end into the
apple.  Keep them close together and cover the entire apple.  I did these
long ago, and we did not use the net, but that might make them prettier. The
sent is nice, and it does last a long time.   

This year I have been into peaches this month. Mostly fresh, but cobblers
and pies... yum!  Half a peach is great on a salad.  Frozen peaches will be
wonderful a few months from now.  Used to can in jars, but not this year.
There will still be lots of apples in October here.

Henry I remember making one of the apples with cloves when I was in grade
school.  I'm going to have to do a google search to learn how to make one.

Good Morning Nella and everyone. I have made Apple dishcloths ( Knitted )
Baked apples with my Mom and Grandmas. We made an apple potpourri that we
stuck cloves into an apple, let it dry out and shrink up and wrapped in
netting with aribbon tie. That thing smelled so good for years and years
too.
BTW it is hot and sunny up here today, lunch and crafting on the patio for
me and the dog today.

Happy Wednesday to all:

It is a gloomy, cloudy morning here in northwest Arkansas.  It actually
feels like fall, which is my favorite season.

I hope the rest of you are having a good morning.

How many of you have made apple crafts or decorated with them?

What was the craft and how did you use apples as decoration?

I have apples in my kitchen.  My shelf paper has apples and so do my kitchen
towels and pot holders.  I took two of the towels with apples and made them
into curtains.  I also made one of the pot holder towels that Terry K.
taught us and have it hanging on the oven door.  The pot holders are on the
wall and cabinet doors for decoration.

I look forward to hearing what kind of projects the rest of you have done.
Maybe I will get some new decorating ideas.
