Oh, Man this sounds so very cool. I would love to take such a class.

I have what is called an inkle loom. I bought it many years ago, and never
did anything with it. I think I tried to use regular 4 ply yarn for the long
strings you weave across, but it was too stretchy. I think you probably
should use cotton or some other type of thread. I forgot which name those
threads are.

That would be down on the Ponderosa.  No actually, you use a Hula Hoop.

Good Morning Cindy Z, where would one find a wagon wheel for this Hula Hoop
rug? It sounds quite interesting to me.
Might there be a class on this some day?

can still find these looms in craft stores or on line.

I have done a hula hoop rug that is woven before.  You need an odd number of
spokes and  then go over, under, over under.

Hi, I'm not sure this message went through when I asked it earlier, but does
anybody here weave?  I''ve used weaving sticks, a potholder loom, and a
small kids' loom that I'm not sure the name of it and the company is no
longer in business.  I want to weave dish cloths, placemats, very small
rugs, and such, and I have no sighted help.  I don't understand how some
weaving looms I've heard about work, so I'm wondering what is the easiest
loom to get for a totally blind beginner.  Thanks in advance and have a
blessed day.
