This is a good point.  Last August was the first time that we issued in
writing the jobs for each board member.  A few of the positions had to be
changed due to board members  resigning.  I was not the person who wrote
them up and I will find out if there are copies available.

I know that I am late to this discussion, however, I think it is very
important that you post the requirements the board came up with for each
position. I hope this has already been posted.

Hello Krafters

 

The Krafter's Korner board is seeking candidates for the positions of:

President

1ST Vice-President

2nd Vice-President

Treasurer

Secretary

 

All of these positions are up for re-election.  We have had a couple of
people indicate their desire to run, yet, some of these positions do not
presently have any candidates at all.

 

The requirement for a candidate according to our Constitution is that you
are an active NFB Krafter's Korner member.

The further requirement according to our Constitution for the positions of
President and the 1st and 2nd Vice-Presidents is that the individual is
blind.

 

Please submit your desire to run, or the nomination of an individual to me
at the following address (without the spaces):

We will be holding a meet the candidates chat in May, and will also be
holding a Survey Monkey survey of the members not attending Convention to
hear your choices on this ballot.

 

There are several open positions to be filled.  This is the time for you to
jump in and work on the changes you want to see in order to make Krafter's
Korner the best it can be.
